A sketch for an unusual amusement park ride proposal inspired by the "milpa" -- a historic tradition of permaculture developed in Mexico and Central America.

This work was produced as part of a workshop in 2022 that engaged with the work in Mexico City to implement a new master plan for Chapultepec Park. Inside the park is La Feria, a historic amusement park that has been abandoned since 2019. We were asked by the developers of the new amusement park to imagine new rides for the park that engage with the history, traditions and current and future challenges facing Mexico City.
