The music for the pavilion is composed of two separate pieces of music (a single-channel ambient piece and a dual-channel stereo soundtrack for the film "Petrichor" by Saleh Jamsheer) played simultaneously on loudspeakers located in opposite corners of the room to generate an ever-evolving sonic environment as they loop.
Also included in this playlist is a stereo mix of the ambient score as well as initial sketches that informed the sound palette of the resulting work. Field recordings of water, electronic drones produced on an analog Moog synthesizer and melodies played on (raw and digitally manipulated) reed-based wind instruments form the foundation of this work.
